This Course Does Not Meet State Requirements for Foodservice Owners and Managers. Please register for a ServSafe Food Protection Manager class. This class is for line level employees only.
Note to Cottage Kitchen Operators:
This course does meet the minimum requirements for a Cottage Kitchen however, be mindful that there are many restrictions on Cottage Food operators that can be viewed at the Georgia Department of Agriculture website http://agr.georgia.gov/cottage-foods.aspx and other sources. Some of those restrictions include bulk sales, internet sales exiting the state of Georgia, and certain retail sales inclusive of certain farmers markets. Overall, you can only do direct sales to the end user. If you plan to do any restricted activities, we highly recommend that you take the Food Manager course.
The course can be completed in approximately 2 hours.
